Who will be attending the Health Tech Forum?
Representatives from Japan, Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest including:
• Medical device and equipment manufacturers, distributors and agents
• Information technology and service specialists
• Early-stage medical technology companies, researchers and distributors
• Technology transfer offices seeking to establish long-term relationships for collaboration, licensing, manufacturing and marketing partnerships with Industry. .

What is the Technology Showcase?
The Technology Showcase is designed to be similar to a tradeshow where registered delegates from the host region will have opportunity to showcase their products and services to the delegates visiting from Japan, Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest respectively.

In Vancouver, the Technology Showcase exhibitors will be representatives from the health technology sector across Western Canada (British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Alberta).

In Seattle, the Technology Showcase exhibitors will be respresentatibves from the health technology industry in Washington State.

In Portland, the Technology Showcase exhibitors will be representatives from Oregon State's health technology sector.

Each Technology Showcase exhibitor will be provided with a exhibitor space for showcasing their health technology specialty and interest. The number of exhibitor spaces are limited to 50 spaces per regional Showcase. It is imperative to register early to guarantee your space.

How much does it cost to participate?
The fee is $350 (CDN & US) per delegate and there is a limited number of registrations available.

What is included in the registration?
Each registrant will have the opportunity to exhibit in their respective region's Technology Showcase. All registrants are invited to participate in all the tours and hosted events in each location with the exception of the luncheons where the only participants will be the delegates from Japan the respective regional Technology Showcase exhibitors. All delegates are welcome to attend each Technology Showcase, providing everyone with the opportunity to meet and network with all delegates.

Will I need to make my own hotel reservations?
Everyone is responsible for making their own hotel reservations. In each city, host hotels will be identified and group booking prices will be negotiated on behalf of the delegates. Group codes will be provided as negoitiated.

Airline sponsorship in Western Canada is provided by WestJet Airlines. WestJet will provide a 10% discount from published fares to anyone traveling to Vancouver during the week of March 5 - 14, 2008. In order to take advantage of this discount you must book your flight
